Value Realization Briefing¶
The Value Realization Briefing Offering Class introduces what Value Realization™ is, why it matters, and how it may apply to an executive sponsor's specific condition, scenario, investment, platform, program, product, portfolio, or organizational challenge.
Class Role¶
This Offering Class provides the structure for individual briefing Offerings.
For example, a future Value Realization Briefing for Cloud Economic Optimization would instantiate this Offering Class for a cloud economic optimization context.
Audience¶
This Offering Class is intended for accountable executive leaders, sponsors, partners, and governance stakeholders who recognize that value is at stake but have not yet determined the appropriate assessment, economic case, portfolio management, or advisory path.
Alescent Interpretation¶
A briefing should help leaders distinguish theoretical, asserted, forecasted, promised, or claimed value from value that is evidenced, attributable, verified, realized, sustained, and consequential.
Typical Focus¶
An individual briefing Offering may address:
- the value realization problem;
- the difference between activity and realized value;
- the relevant executive condition;
- the likely value at stake;
- current value realization friction;
- potential next steps.
Expected Output¶
The intended output is executive clarity on whether a Value Realization™ approach is relevant and what entry path should be considered next.
Individual Offering Requirements¶
An individual Offering based on this class should define:
- the specific value context;
- the intended audience;
- the relevant priorities and effects;
- the expected briefing focus;
- the likely evidence or source materials;
- the expected next-step path;
- any material assumptions or exclusions.
Guidance¶
A briefing should not be treated as a full assessment, economic case, portfolio mandate, or commercial commitment unless incorporated into a controlling engagement instrument.
