Performance Measures¶
Purpose¶
This area contains curated measures, KPIs, targets, objectives, indicators, thresholds, and other performance constructs used to establish whether Alescent is delivering on the priorities of the customer or partner receiving value.
Performance Measures connect partner priorities to measurable evidence of Value Realization™.
Governance¶
Each Performance Measure should be maintained as a structured library item using the Applied Value Library metadata model.
Performance Measures should include, where applicable:
- related Value Realization™ Priority;
- related Value Realization™ Domain;
- measure type;
- calculation method;
- target value;
- threshold;
- evidence source;
- accountable owner or role;
- reporting period;
- validation method;
- related Proof artifacts;
- related Patterns, Practices, Products, Platforms, or Playbooks.
Guardrails¶
- Do not confuse activity metrics with value measures.
- Do not use vanity metrics as evidence of Value Realization™.
- Measures should follow clear definitions of value and should not precede value definition.
