Alescent Canon Governance

Purpose

This document defines governance for the Alescent Strategic Framework.

The Alescent Strategic Framework includes Alescent-specific identity, canon, operating models, Applied Value Library, legal and commercial framework, brand, communications, website, derivative assets, and governance.

Governance Principles

  • Alescent-specific doctrine belongs in the Alescent Strategic Framework.
  • Portable Value Realization™ doctrine belongs in the Value Realization™ Framework.
  • Derivative assets should not be treated as canonical doctrine.
  • Source materials should be preserved as source intake, not merged uncritically into canon.
  • Semantic models should separate canonical definitions from examples, rationale, exceptions, and drafting guidance.
  • Governance directories should be numbered 900 consistently.

Change Management

Changes to Alescent-specific doctrine should be recorded in the Alescent Change Register.

Changes that affect portable Value Realization™ Framework doctrine should also be recorded in the Value Realization™ Framework Change Register before being treated as general canon.
