Presentation Standards¶
Purpose¶
This document defines core Alescent presentation standards for creating, presenting, and distributing slide materials.
Standards¶
- External presentations should be shown in slide show format, not edit mode.
- External sharing should generally use PDF or PPS/PPSX rather than editable PPT/PPTX unless specifically authorized.
- Slides should be sparse enough to present, not merely read.
- A practical maximum is three key visuals, five succinct bullets, or approximately forty words per slide.
- Client, customer, or partner names and logos should never survive from copied materials unless intentionally included and authorized.
- Copyrighted or trademarked content should be identified and used appropriately.
- Licensed background images should be inserted on slide masters where possible to reduce file size and improve consistency.
- Spelling, grammar, structure, and detail errors are credibility risks.
Governance¶
Presentation materials are derivative assets. They should be generated or revised from canonical source materials, not treated as source doctrine.
