Model-Specific Perspectives¶
Model-Specific Perspectives record Alescent's position on external models, frameworks, methods, standards, bodies of knowledge, and assessment instruments.
They support derived material, customer-facing content, proposal content, advisory interpretation, and internal agent guidance without allowing external models to redefine the Value Realization Framework or the Alescent Strategic Framework.
Scope¶
Model-Specific Perspectives may address:
- change-management models such as ADKAR;
- benefits-realization and benefits-management models;
- technology-business-management models such as TBM;
- IT financial management models such as ITFM;
- IT business management and IT operating models;
- cloud financial management and FinOps models;
- project, program, portfolio, and organizational project management models;
- personality-profile, trait, motivation, values, emotional-intelligence, and work-style instruments;
- governance, risk, compliance, control, architecture, portfolio, and operating models;
- industry-specific models that may influence customer interpretation of value.
Standard Posture¶
Alescent may respect, reference, translate into, or selectively use external models where they help improve Value Realization.
Alescent should not treat external models as canonical unless the relevant Canon expressly adopts them.
The default posture is "yes, and":
- yes, the external model may contribute useful language, discipline, artifacts, professional standards, and decision structure;
- and, Alescent interprets the model through Value Realization, including value logic, economic Effects, evidence, validation, and realized outcomes.
A Model-Specific Perspective should identify:
- the model or discipline being addressed;
- the primary Value Realization Domain;
- the secondary Value Realization Domains, where applicable;
- the Alescent position;
- the Value Realization contribution;
- the boundaries and cautions;
- the preferred use in derived content;
- the prohibited use;
- the related Canon concepts;
- whether the perspective is advisory, practice-enabling, or policy-bearing.
Relationship to Canon¶
The Value Realization Framework remains authoritative for portable Value Realization doctrine.
The Alescent Strategic Framework remains authoritative for Alescent-specific operating, commercial, brand, legal, applied-practice, and derivative-content posture.
Model-Specific Perspectives are interpretive artifacts. They may influence Alescent practice and derived content, but they do not independently change canonical definitions.

Governance¶
A Model-Specific Perspective should be updated when:
- Alescent's posture changes;
- an external model changes materially;
- customer-facing use creates ambiguity;
- a derived content pattern needs clearer guidance;
- a model begins to influence product, offering, practice, or playbook development.
